Mayanti Langer is a popular name amongst cricket fans over the past few years. The 33-year old was associated with ESPN and then Star India.

The TV presenter is currently busy with her role in Indian Premier League (IPL). Star had bought the rights for a record ₹ 16350 crore and are doing their best to engage with fans to encash IPL 2018.

Mayanti has been presenting numerous shows this season. It is no secret that she has attracted a lot of interest from the cricket fans with the way she presents her shows to the audience.

However, one of the fans took one step further and asked her out for a dinner. His tweet read:

Mayanti, who saw the reply and bowled a bouncer of her own. She accepted the invitation and suggested the fan that she and her husband would join him.

Star India Are Aggressively Promoting IPL:

The media group had acquired TV rights for the first time in a decade. They have planned extensively to reach the larger audience with their channels across languages.

In addition, IPL is being telecasted for the first time in six languages and Star India are doing nothing less in the digital platform as well. They are encouraging the fans – to participate in quizzes which will earn them useful coupons.
