Former England skipper and also one of the cricketing voices Michael Vaughan gears up for his maiden experience in the marquee cricketing event of the Indian Premier League (IPL), this season.
The former Yorkshireman stated his support for the Jaipur-based outfit Rajasthan Royals, this season. The other Englishmen in the commentary panel for the IPL are David Lloyd, Kevin Pietersen, Nasser Hussain, and Isa Guha.
Rajasthan Royals, this time around, have come up with a powerful side, featuring superstars in the form of Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, and Jofra Archer.
This perhaps might be the reason why the English pundits are supporting the Royals’ this time around.
“Time to get to #India … My 1st live #IPL experience … will be cheering my beloved @rajasthanroyals on @StarSportsIndia … #BleedBlue,” tweeted Michael Vaughan.

Since the inception of IPL in 2008, England has largely remained distant from the competition every year.
But it all changed since Andrew Strauss was appointed as the Director of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Therefore, we have seen the likes of Sam Billings, Chris Jordan and Eoin Morgan as regular features in the tournament.

The other stars to watch out for within the RR camp are BBL stars Ben Laughlin and D’Arcy Short.
Royals also have an enviable line up when it comes to Indian stars. The franchise returned after the two-year hiatus – to retain the services of Ajinkya Rahane, who was later named as captain of the side.

Sanju Samson, Stuart Binny, Dhawal Kulkarni, Jaydev Unadkat are the other stars in the lineup.
