Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr posted a surprising tweet on Monday which involves his former Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi.
According to the Brazilian star’s tweet, something big between Neymar and Messi is about to happen.
Despite leaving Barcelona with a record breaking transfer, Neymar still has a good relation with many Barca players and among them the Argentinian forward tops the list.
Neymar tweeted: “When me and my friend #LeoMessi get together great things happen! I’ll be telling you more very soon, stay tuned!”
Needless to say, Neymar has created a big curiosity among the fans around the world and now everyone’s eye will be on Neymar and Messi.
It remains to be seen if the message involves the duo reuniting on the pitch, refers to commercial matters away from the field, or even relates to something else entirely.
Neymar is currently recovering from a fractured foot ahead of the World Cup while Messi is in the form of his life with Barcelona and his side is currently eying for the treble.
Meanwhile, Neymar dominated Ligue 1 this year to the tune of 19 goals and 13 assists in just 20 games in the French top division.
