Skrtel 5.5: Stepped out of defence,put Clyne under pressure in Devic”s goal.Drooled all over the pitch with zero effect.Skrtel doesn’t work in a defence that pushes up.Gave zero cover to fullbacks.Pushed the defence deep and wide
Sakho 8: Outstanding.Best Liverpool defender.Churned out another brilliant performance. Mamadou Sakho won 8 aerial duels.Leader in defender,athlete,klopp”s defence is built around him.Loved it when Sakho saluted the kop singing “sakho,sakho”
Moreno 7: Enjoying life under Klopp.Now has become a plausible player,good at defending and playing high up the pitch.Produced good crosses. Only player who took good corners was Moreno. Pace, whip, dip and placed in dangerous areas. Alberto Moreno completed 100% of his attempted passes in the first half .His flying tackle at 63minute and partnership with Sakho,4 interceptions remain the high point.
Allen 5: Average .Needs to be sold.Didn’t offer anything
Emre can 7: Excelled as left midfielder role.Enjoying life as box to box midfielder.Pressed,ran,scored with great vision.Played with passion and forced the opponent captain to get the red card.His first half numbers 88% pass accuracy 2 shots 2 interceptions 1 tackle 1 goal Solid in the middle.
Milner 6: worked tirelessly as an engine,covered clyne ,helped in build up play,ran and pressed but not an inspiring performance.Needs to be given rest.Though furnished great balls sometimes.
Coutinho 5.5: His off form continues,made 3 unsuccessful touches,was robbed ball possession 3 times,despite clever turn of momentary brilliance,was off colour.He needs runners infront him.Couldnt offer penetration in the final third
Lallana 7: looked a different player under klopp.Ran and pressed hard.Showed Johan Cruyff turns,flicks,tried to help Origi and drift upwards but ineffective in the final front
Origi 5: finishing and vision in the box was bad.Looked in yaya sonago mode .Tried to create opportunities for coutinho and lallana.Never looked like scoring.
