MS Dhoni, Indian limited overs skipper, today went to meet N Srinivasan in the morning at his residence. According to reports, he spent around 45 minutes there. This has seen MS Dhoni being criticized by many. After Dhoni left Sinivasan’s residence, BJP leader BJP leader met Srinivasan.
MS Dhoni has refused to speak on this visit. However, speculations are being made that he went to speak about his IPL franchise Chennai SuperKings.
N Srivasan was the owner of the IPL franchise Chennai SuperKings but then he left the post after he a conflict of interest was claimed. He was dethroned from the post of BCCI President after so many cases of match fixing cropped up against Gurunath Meiyappan, his son-in-law. He now just serves as ICC Chairman.
Lodha Committee, which was appointed by Supreme Court and was headed by Justice Lodha, found both Raj Kundra and Meiyappan guilty of betting.
Aditya Verma, who is the secretary of the Cricket Association of Bihar has criticized Dhoni in the letter he wrote to him. He said that being the captain of the Indian team, he should have avoided this meeting. But he added that there is no bar stopping Dhoni, but on the moral grounds, he should have avoided this.
