22 year old Italian, Stephan El Shaarawy is a hot target of several English clubs. The Savona born player is currently on loan at AS Monaco from Milan. The North London club, Arsenal, has showed interest in the young Italian. Simultaneously West Ham and Liverpool are also lining up to sign the striker.
As per Tuttosport, Monaco is set to make a permanent deal with the player by the end of the season as El Shaarawy triggered a clause in the contract. The club will have to pay a sum of £12 million as the Italian has already made over 10 performances.
El Shaarawy has a pass success rate of 86.9 in Ligue 1 and a player rating of nearly 6.5 which is decent. He prefers doing layoffs and cuts the ball inside. Better known for his dribbling, El Shaarawy doesn’t prefer diving into tackles. His strengths include long shots and passes, whereas he is weaker in his defensive contribution.
But, the Monaco chairman is in a mood to make some profit on this deal and has intentions of selling the player at a higher price. It is believed that the winger is most likely to be sold to West Ham for a fee of £22m approximately. However, the deal may not happen rapidly and could eventually take place over two years’ span.
