The last time Liverpool scored 2 goals, players were still allowed to play on dopes, one may vent out his frustration.
But, Liverpool have won 1-0 over Bournemouth to set a date for League Cup quarter-finals vs Southampton (away). Roberto Firmino was outstanding, proved his mettle, almost scored and set up the Clyne goal in the 17th minute, Bogdan, the goalie was fantastic, was a Kop hero (read cup hero) indeed. During the opening minutes, 15th minute and just before the half-time, Firmino almost scored and the impressive youngster Teixeira side netted.

Clyne 8: In the 17th minute, scored the winner, was fantastic in the attack.Excellent delivery, runs, plus meticulous defending. His maiden goal for LFC will give him a world of confidence. Great future for this overlapping fullback. Deployed as a left back, still made amends
Kolo Toure 5: Looked shaky, his hamstring injury forced him out of action.
Lovren 6: People say, the form is temporary and Lovren is permanent. So was his dismal string of performances. Was patchy initially, but later became ok. Moving from Hummels Subotic to Kolo and Lovren is “dar circus” indeed.
Randall 6.5: Said his Anfield debut is “That was a dream come true.” Didn’t offer much in build up play, but defensively was good, solid.Bats his eyes too much.
Allen 6: Was booked for an average performance.He was not able to pass the ball right direction. Lost ball possessions. When Klopp was hugging Allen, was Rodgers wiping a silent tear anywhere?
Brannagan 6: Looked promising for a rookie will surely be a better player than Joe Allen. In the ball, possession was really good
Teixeira 7: Linked up brilliantly, slick on the ball, played with such composure and confidence. His audacious back heel shot paved way for Clyne to score. Also side netted once. Was clever and confident on the ball
Ibe 7.5: From the right channel was the consistent threat. Displayed pace, skills, power and talent .Was so good on the ball. Already formed a partnership with Firmino. That ridiculous fake-foot nutmeg pass was a beauty.
Firmino 8: The man of the match. 65 touches 50 passes, 92% passing accuracy 5 shots, 2 on target 2 key passes. Brilliant. The best player on the pitch. Like kids play in Fifa, received the ball on the wings, looked at opposition, came back and made passes
Origi 5: Played good hand in the goal. But was bad on and off the ball.
