It was another exciting day on the 3rd day of 5th round matches. There was another result with Uttar Pradesh beating Gujarat by 155 runs. The chances of results in other matches are brighter with Karnataka needing 7 wickets to win.

In the batting department Paras Dogra scoring a 209 runs for Himachal Pradesh against Tripura, Uthappa scoring 160 for Karnataka against Rajasthan, Yashpal remained not on 115 while Palliwal scored 103 for Services against Sahuastra, Juneja scoring 91 for Gujarat against Uttar Pradesh in a losing cause.

While in the bowling department the highlights of the day were Quadri picking 6 for 97 for Jharkhand against Goa, Hirwani picking 5 for 60 for Madhya Pradesh against Baroda,Darekar picking 5 for 78 for Maharastra against Vidarbha, R Sharma and Sofi picking 4 wickets each for Jammu and Kashmir against Hyderabad, Hooda also picked 4 for 39 for Haryana against Bengal.
