The FIFA World Cup 2018 has got underway, and all the celebrities are cheering for their respective teams. In the generation of social media, almost all stars have given their opinion on the World Cup and the team they support.
The tournament hasn’t quite got off to an expected start. Runners-up from last year, Argentina began with a 1-1 draw against Iceland who is making their World Cup debut. Iceland played quite brilliantly, and it was a somewhat off day for Lionel Messi.
The defending champions, Germany lost their opening clash to Mexico which was a big upset.
In the final group game yesterday it was Switzerland who held Brazil to a 1-1 draw. With the odds not favouring the favourites, we might see the same trend even today.
However, in football, you can’t predict anything. It all comes down to the particular day and how the players pan it out in the 90 minutes.

England, who won the World Cup only once way back in 1966, start off their campaign on Monday against Tunisia.
It will be a big game especially given the fact that all the top teams have not started off on a winning note. England has a quite a few big names in their line-up. Captain of the team, Harry Kane will be the most critical player.
England will look to get off to a winning start which will be essential for them in ensuring a safer path to the Round of 16.
England wicket-keeper batsman, Jos Buttler took to his twitter handle and cheered for England. He also hoped that England goes on to win the World Cup.
“We’re gonna win the World Cup! #England.”

In another Instagram post, he shared a picture of the English jersey for the match against Tunisia.
“COME ON ENGLAND!!” he wrote.
Buttler is an integral member of England limited-overs side. He has also performed admirably in Tests in the recent past. Buttler will be one of the most important players for England when India tour them for a full series comprising of three ODI’s, three T20I’s and five Tests.
