French outlet Foot Mercato says Manchester United and Chelsea both want Chelsea player Charly Musonda.

The 19-year-old has scored 12 goals for Chelsea U21. The starlet is reportedly unhappy at the lack of the first-team opportunity at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester  United is believed to want to bolster their attack, as Van Gaal is worried of the decreasing goal-count year after year.

Metro claims Manchester United are favourites to land the deal with the Belgian international.

Reportedly, The Red devils are preparing a $10.5 million bid for the Chelsea player.

Musonda is a versatile player, basically an attacking midfielder, but also can play as a central midfielder.

Charly Musonda has scored 1 goal and provided 3 assists in this season’s 7 U21 Premier League games.

Given the knack of Wenger of acquiring and developing young midfielders, it’s no surprise that Arsenal wants him.

Van Gaal needs young blood, pace and versatility in United midfield. Given the pressure of hectic fixtures, a move to United will enhance Musonda’s chance of getting the first team.

From Chelsea’s point of view, players like Musonda, Traore are must keep, but, it’s unlikely under Jose Mourinho that they will get the first team.

Foot Mercato also reports that United are preparing 15million Euro bid for him and the 19-year-old is frustrated at Chelsea.

This March, the Belgian attacking midfielder signed a  new 4-year deal, but now reportedly is frustrated.

Let’s see if Chelsea wants to cash in on. His special technical ability, work rate and intelligence make him a special player.

Foot Mercato also reports that ”Musonda appreciates Chelsea but feels he is wasting his time. What he wants is to showcase his talent in the highest level.

With many big European clubs interested in him, it may be time for him to move on if Chelsea can’t offer him game time”.

Mirror has reported that Arsenal is waiting to sign Musonda, with the star likely to quit Chelsea.

Monaco made a failed 10 million Euro bid for him this summer, it is also believed that they will put an improved bid on the table.

Musonda’s father has given a statement that the player must quit Chelsea for his development.
