Warne’s Warriors have won the first edition of the Cricket All Star League as Sachin Blaster’s have lost the match by 57 runs. Warne’s team leads 2-0 in a three-match series is in Los Angeles.
The Warriors batting first set a 262 run formidable target for Blasters. It was a- Sangakkara, Kallis and Ponting show- who battered Blasters bowlers to post 262 run formidable score on the board. In the last match, Warne’s Warriors have defeated Sachin Blaster’s by 6 wickets.
While chasing the mountainous target, Blasters lost their first wicket Virender Sehwag in the last ball of the second over. Sehwag was played down by Ajit Agarkar.
The result of the match was virtually decided after Sehwag’s departure because there was nobody who could score as quickly as Sehwag. Sachin tried but was bowled by a vintage delivery of Saqlain Mushtaq. Sourav Ganguly hit one six coming at no3.
Mushtaq offered a doosra to Jayawardene, who was bamboozled and trapped lbw. Lara was invited by Symonds to hit a maximum but the miss the line and got bowled out.
However, Shaun Pollock played some lusty shots. He hit three consecutive sixes off Wasim Akram. Pollock and Swann built a 50 run 7th wicket partnership from 19 deliveries. Pollock scored his fifty off 21 balls and Lance Klusener also contributed 21 runs. Andrew Symonds bagged 4 wickets but conceded 70 runs in four overs.

@cricbuzz Warnie’s Warriors have more recently retired players as compared to Sachin’s Blasters. That could be one reason. #CricketAllStars
