“Of course, in the beginning of my career he was so important to me. Because I moved from Sporting to Manchester and I had that Portuguese mentality — too many stepovers, decision-making was not the best. So he taught me how to do it. You know, in the Premier League they don’t fall over so easy, they are tough. As I’ve said many, many times, he taught me everything. He was like a father to me. He helped me a lot at Manchester United.”

After spending nine seasons at Real Madrid, he finally decided to move on and take on a new challenge. The 33-year old moved to Juventus in the summer transfer window with a fee of £120 million.

Ronaldo also talked about the reason behind joining the Seria A club in the interview. He admitted that the overhead kick goal against them played a key part. All the Juventus fan gave a standing applause after the goal and the reaction touched Ronaldo’s heart.
