Samir Nasri will not be able to play again in 2015 confirming that he will be sidelined for another three months with a hamstring injury.
Manchester City’s French winger Samir Nasri has officially ruled himself out of action for three months but vows to come back more stronger than ever.
Nasri hasn’t played for City after their 5-1 thrashing of AFC Bournemouth on 17th October due to a hamstring injury. However, he again started training with his City teammates on 26th October but now it seems that the hamstring problem he was facing didn’t recovered fully.
And now the 28-year-old Frenchman is yet again facing a much longer setback while posting a picture with crutches on his instagram profile.
Nasri’s picture was captioned: “What doesn’t kill you make you stronger. I will be back better than ever see you in 3 months.”
Nasri has played eight matches for Manchester City this term, netting only once.
Due to his injury prone nature, last season also Pellegrini seemed to be getting frustrated with the stylish ex-Arsenal star, because Nasri had to sit five games on the bench following an injury against Tottenham which ended his campaign prematurely.
But even at the start of last season, the France international used to be a regular man for City boss whenever David Silva was out with injury. However, now Kevin de Bruyne, Jesus Navas, Raheem Sterling, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfried Bony are all stepping in while Pelegrini is trying to re-arrange his squad to suit, of course.
As David Silva and Sergio Aguero are now edging closer for a much awaited return against Liverpool this Saturday, both of them will have been out of action six weeks, and that suggests they might start on the bench.
