Eden Hazard’s father Thierry Hazard believes his son will never end up in Real Madrid any more after the departure of Zinedine Zidane.
Hazard was highly linked with Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Hazard, who was highly linked with Real Madrid in this transfer window has ended up staying with the Blues. A move to Real Madrid is unlikely to happen at the moment as Chelsea’s new manager convinced him to stay.
However, things could have been different if Zinedine Zidane was still in charge. But the French legend decided to bid goodbye to the Los Blancos after winning three Champions League in a row.
Hazard’s father told Hiet Nieuwsblad:
“I can’t say why it did not go through. Not because I don’t want to, because I don’t know. Maybe they have a policy where they want to give the youth a chance. Eden will have one more year on his contract next summer, but he may never end up in Madrid.”

Theirry Hazard himself revealed that the story could have been different if Zidane was still the manager of Madrid. His son’s idol is Zidane and he also said in several interview that he would like to play under the Frenchman.
“It could be that it had been a different story with Zidane. But on the other hand, he will also have had his reasons for leaving.”
Theirry Hazard’s other two sons Thorgan and Kylian are also footballers. He didn’t forget to give an update about them too.
“Kylian has two years contract with Chelsea but will be loaned out. He did a test at VVV in the Netherlands but that did not happen. Now there is a chance in Spain for him. Thorgan stays with Monchengladbach. At one point, Valencia was concrete and I spoke with the club in Spain. Nothing has come of it, but that is not bad. He has two years of contract left.”
