India was able to get one back after winning the third Test match at Trent Bridge by 203 runs against England. The visitors had found a perfect combination. Thus, they are expected to play the same playing XI unless they are forced to make a change due to injury. In fact, it is difficult to predict what is going on in Virat Kohli’s mind as far as team selection is concerned. However, we try to take a shot at India’s Predicted Playing XI for the fourth Test match at Aegis Bowl, Southampton.

The Indian skipper has picked a different playing XI in all the 38 Test matches he has led. Thus, he might be keeping his cards close to his chest before the toss is flicked by Joe Root.

India was able to tick all the right boxes in all the three domains at Nottingham. Consequently, they will look to replicate their performance to try to continue the impetus. Thus, they will look the make the series even.

On the other hand, England will aim to come back stronger. The hosts were not up to the mark in the third Test match and would aim to make amends.

Meanwhile, there is an injury concern for Ravichandran Ashwin. Thus, the selection of India’s talismanic off-spinner is hanging by a thin thread. Ashwin had suffered a hip injury in the last Test match at Trent Bridge.

Here is India’s Predicted Playing XI for the fourth Test match at Aegis Bowl, Southampton.

Openers: The Indian openers had set strong pillars in both the innings as they had put 60 runs for the opening partnership.

KL Rahul hasn’t yet come to the party with the bat. However, Rahul was instrumental in India’s success as he was phenomenal in the slip cordon. Consequently, the flamboyant right-hander will look to continue with the good work.
