Chelsea midfielder N’ Golo Kante made a surprise visit to Indian Cricket Team’s hotel on Monday and met with two Indian players KL Rahul and Umesh Yadav.
Kante spent some time with KL Rahul and Umesh Yadav.
Indian team, who are currently on a 70-day England tour have already played three T20Is, three ODIs and four Tests. The fifth and the final test is yet to take place. However, England have already won the series as they have taken a 3-1 lead.
After winning the World Cup and winning all the matches so far for Chelsea before the International break, Kante is now in a good mood and took some time to take his attention to cricket.
The 27-year old midfielder made a surprise visit to the Indian team hotel while they were staying in London. He dropped in to see the tourists and lend his support. Kante told that he is a big fan of India captain Virat Kohli and caught up with a number of other players including batsman KL Rahul and bowler Umesh Yadav.
A meeting was set up by Kante’s advisors as they have close ties with the Indian cricket team. The Indian team congratulated Kante for winning the World Cup in Russia and wished luck for the future. While, Kante hopes to follow up his visit with a future trip to India.
