It was the most interesting day of Ranji Trophy matches. Many matches will be decided. In Group C Kerala beat Saurashtra by 45 runs. The star of the show was Monish picking 5 for 46 runs. In Group B Railways defeated Andhra Pradesh by 148 runs and Mumbai beat Madhya Pradesh by 3 wickets to qualify for the quarter-finals.

The main contribution with the bat were 146 for Haryana against Rajasthan, Ian Dev Singh scoring 115 for Jammu and Kashmir against Goa, Bista, Abdulla and Shardul Thakur were only batsmen with key contributions in the second innings for Mumbai against Madhya Pradesh, Mandeep Singh and Uday Kaul scoring 80’s for Punjab against Uttar Pradesh.

The main contributions with ball include Monish taking 5 for 46 in the second innings for Kerala against Saurashtra, Anureet Singh picking 4 for 32 in the second innings for Railways against Andhra Pradesh.
