India skipper Virat Kohli has added yet another feather to his cap during the ongoing second Test against West Indies in Hyderabad. Kohli has now broken former Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq’s record of most runs in Tests by an Asian captain.
Virat Kohli needed 27 runs to go past Misbah’s record when he came out to bat. And he achieved the feat when he took a single off Jomel Warrican on the final ball of the 35th over. Kohli, however, could not convert his start into a big knock as he was out for 45, falling lbw to Jason Holder.

The 29-year old has now scored 4233 runs as Test skipper in 69 innings at an average of over 65. On the other hand. Misbah scored 4214 runs in 99 innings at an average of 51.39.
