Rohit’s Sharma’s Test fortune suffered yet another blow today at Feroz Shah Kotla as he got out for a golden duck. In a Test series where a single run needs a lot of hard work Rohit Sharma, who after an extraordinarily limited over performance against South Africa, failed to recover his Test fortune.

Former Indian batsman Sanjay Manjrekar said the Mumbai batsman is in the self-destructive mood. The former batsman feels the it will be difficult for Rohit to retain his place in Test team after this series.

Rohit in this ongoing Test scored 1 in the first innings and a duck in the second innings. He did not show any intent of spending time at the crease in the first innings. When India was in trouble Rohit played an irresponsible shot and eventually caught out. In the second innings, Morne Morkel castled him with a beautiful delivery. Rohit came to bat at no. 3 and was bowled in the first delivery.

Twitter got an opportunity to shot back at Rohit, who recently criticised those who trolled him for his Test performance.

This time, Rohit once again failed to justify his selection the Test team.
