It has now been confirmed by reports from the Italian media that Premier League giants Manchester United are trying to bring back their former midfield superstar Paul Pogba to Old Trafford. The Red Devils are keen on signing both the 22 year old France international and Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, according to claims from Tuttomercatoweb. Manager Louis van Gaal had made his intention of winning titles quite clear prior to the start of the new season and previously tried to add Pogba to his side, as he looked to strengthen his squad, though a deal did not go through back then.
Also the Manchester based side might look to sign the Juve boss as well, as a future replacement for the Dutch manager and it seems that the Frenchman has asked his agent Mino Raiola to make the move happen if Allegri does indeed leave.
The midfield superstar is quite keen to carry on working with the Italian and the two share a really good relationship at the Italian giants, after winning various titles in the recent seasons
If Pogba does return to Manchester, it will be a huge boost for the club, who have looked much better this season and are currently title contenders in the league to say the least.
It will be interesting to see whether the deal does indeed go through or not and under what conditions, though there is no doubt that the French player is one of the most wanted stars in the European continent at the moment.
