The young spin sensation from Afghanistan, Mujeeb-Ur Rahman has shared high praise for the former India skipper MS Dhoni.
Meanwhile, Dhoni is currently out of action as the selectors left him out of the T20I squad for the series against Windies and Australia. The veteran cricketer had a poor stint in the recent tours and attracted a lot of criticisms. While many raised speculations for his retirement, former cricketers backed MS Dhoni due to the experience he brings to the table.

Many believed that time was up for Captain Cool in the shortest format of the game; however, chief of selectors MSK Prasad admitted that they were looking for the second wicket-keeper.

“He [Dhoni] is not going to play the six T20Is [West Indies and Australia] because we are looking at the second keeper’s slot. So I think we will retain Rishabh [Pant] and Dinesh Karthik. So they will be getting a chance to keep and bat. It is not the end of Dhoni in T20Is,” MSK Prasad justified.

With Dhoni playing only seven T20Is this year and India’s next ODI assignment only in January against Australia, the former captain won’t be getting any domestic matches with both Vijay Hazare and Deodhar Trophy already over. Although he is not at his very best with the bat, MS Dhoni puts in a lot of efforts behind the stump. He has been a guide to the youngsters as many youngsters have laid down int their interviews.

And like many, Mujeeb-Ur Rahman also seeks inspiration from the former India skipper MS Dhoni. The young spinner in his Instagram stories said that Dhoni is a sweet soul and is also an inspiration.
