Ravichandran Ashwin got some free time to chat with his fans. He has been instrumental in India’ s 3-0 home series victory over South Africa as he has taken 31 wickets.

He has gone back to his home Chennai, which is still floating over the water. He joined Tamil Nadu team to keep himself fit for the Australia tour. He will the Vijay Hazare trophy.

This year Ashwin will play for a new IPL team after playing for Chennai Super Kings for last eight years. CSK has been banned for two years from IPL as their team principal Gurunath Meiyappan found guilty of spot-fixing along with Rajasthan Royals’ co-owner Raj Kundra.

So, this year Ashwin’s name will be raised in the auction along with MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ajinkya Rahane. Ashwin has written in his twitter handle, “In three days time, Pune or Rajkot will be my new summer destination.Looking forward to a new beginning and more challenges.”

But, Chennaites are probably not happy as their home team banned for two years while they did not get a single ICC World T20 2016 match as BCCI Shashank Manohar want to take revenge on N Srinivasan, whose regime scandalised BCCI and Indian cricket.

Ashwin was replying to fans query while chatting with them. One of the fans said, “The CSK fans are more passionate about the players and the franchise than the players themselves.”

The tweet was a dig at Ashwin’s “new summer destination” comment. An Ardent cricketer followers could not see their players playing for other franchise but in franchise based tournament players ply their trade to earn money.

Ashwin replied the fan, “Really?? Are you sure that you will  stay at home if ur company closed down?”

Ashwin has won two IPL trophies for CSK under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. The players’ draft will be held on December 15 at Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai for 2016 IPL.

BCCI confirmed that  Sanjeev Goenka’ New Rising Pune will be first select players from the bid because they were the highest bidders to buy the new team for two years.
