Mourinho might have lost the battle at Chelsea but the Special One is leading the race somewhere else!

Jose Mourinho bid adieu to the Blues yesterday on a ‘mutual’ agreement between the club and the boss and with that sacking Mourinho’s popularity sky rocketed on the social media. The name of the Portuguese does not need any introduction as it is, but the public image and recognition that the ex Madrid boss enjoys became even more evident as his name became the most searched on Google beating the much awaited blockbuster Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The new film in the Star Wars saga comes after 10 years after the last film, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and has been the most awaited film of the year. It brings back Harrison Ford as the iconic Han Solo, but Mr Ford took the back seat when news broke out that the Blues boss has been sacked after a horrible season where Chelsea currently stand just short of the relegation zone.

The news of the sacking made the internet go berserk and became the top trending topic on social website Twitter overthrowing the film from that position. The force is strong with the Special one!

Mourinho’s dreamy return to the London club was cut short after a terrible half season which saw him falling out with the medical staff, the players and ultimately the management. It has been more than just an unforgettable season. The management backed Mourinho in the beginning of the season but with time and as the season progressed their patience ran out and ultimately led to a Mourinho exit from Stamford Bridge.

For all that Mourinho has achieved he shouldn’t have blatantly blamed the players in the face of the loss against Leicester. It was a tough time and playing a blame game wasn’t just the right way to go in our opinion. Nothing can be done anymore. There is no point in crying over spilt milk. Mourinho would surely take a break from footballing action and come back next year to another club and take them to yet new heights!
