Aston Agar of Australia has taken a brilliant catch during a Big Bash league 2015 match between Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers at WACA, Perth.

Agar has taken the catch of Brad Hodge at mid wicket boundary when Strikers were chasing the Scorchers’ first innings target 151.

At the home ground, the defending champion were restricted for 151 for 6. Shaun Marsh and Adam Voges scored 47 and 45 respectively. Their next four batsmen could not do much as Adil Rashid and Ben Laughlin has taken two wicktes each. They conceded just 41 runs together.

Strikers lost two early wicktes when came to chase. But, Mahela Jayawardene anchored their innings as he scored 42. When the match was blanced. Agar has taken a brilliant catch at the boundary line. 

With 98 for 4 in 12.1. Strikers’ chase seemed to get derailed. Travis Head and Brad Godge’s failure also made thing difficult for them. But Alex Ross coming at No.6 played 38 run innings that anchored Strikers’ innings on the brink of victory.

David Willey took the wicket of Jayawardene and when Strikers were just two run away from the victory Ross was caught by Willey off Paris.

The match Perth lost, but Agar’s catch has stunned everyone. He came as a substitute in the match.
