Louis van Gaal has become the eye candy in the current football world. All eyes are on him to exit from Manchester United. As all fans await the official statement from the club regarding his sacking, Louis van Gaal has snubbed off talks of the exit. He believes he has the support of the staff, management and fans. The Dutchman expressed that he fears being sacked but also believes that a change in the managerial position won’t help the team, either. The fans believe that bringing in a fresh manager will help in tackling the problems at the club. Among the ones linked with United are Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti. However, Carlo was announced as the new boss of Bayern Munich and Guardiola is highly linked to a move with MUFC’s rivals, the mighty Manchester City.
Speaking to the media, the Dutchman says, ‘’Yes. Ed was very fast out of the dressing room (after Norwich defeat). But I feel that support yes. But of course, the belief of the fans in the manager is also very important. Last year we had 13 points and then they believe in me. In the last match, Giggs had a lot of time on the touchline. He has to give the advice to the players. Giggs can do that because we speak about that. You are at the sideline when it is not going well. And that’s the reason.’’ Giggs is also rumoured to be the interim manager in the case of LvG’s exit until a new manager is recruited.
