MS Dhoni, the former India captain, stays in the news for some reason or the other. Recently, he received a call-up for the Australia ODIs and the limited-overs series against New Zealand. Glenn Maxwell, who also got included in Australia’s, squad tried copying his favourite MS Dhoni shot. Of late, Maxwell remembers MS Dhoni’s famous helicopter hit against James Faulkner.

MS Dhoni’s numbers are enough to rate him as one of the greatest players of the modern-day game. Be it his batting records, or the accolades he has achieved behind the wickets; MS Dhoni’s remains the top guy around. As mentioned above, Glenn Maxwell showed off his helicopter shot and recalled the moment.

The Australia all-rounder said, during a T20I game in Adelaide a few years back, he dropped MS Dhoni, a ball before the then India captain hit Faulkner for a six. Trying his hands at hitting the same shot for a video, Maxwell looked a bit convincing in his attempt.

Meanwhile, both the sides are now ready to face each other in three-match ODI’s, starting January 12th in Sydney. As the T2oI’s got tied (1-1), India would like to win the 50-over series, heading into the 2019 World Cup.

MS Dhoni returns to the limited-overs setup

Though MSD never got overlooked in One-Day cricket, his inclusion for the New Zealand T20I’s made the news. The former India captain got dropped from the T20I squad for the Windies and Australia series, creating quite a stir in the social media. Now, as he has returned, Dhoni should look to find runs to ensure India has a better chance of claiming the World title again.
