It is being reported now that Spanish interantional Cesc Fabregas could be all set to leave Premier League champions. Chelsea after being termed a “rat” by the Blues’ fans, after Jose Mourinho was recently sacked. The Metro reported that the ex Barcelona man is keen on leaving Stamford Bridge and making a move to Manchester City, along with his Pedro if his former boss Pep Guardiola takes over at the Etihad, after the current season. There were recent speculations stating that the Bayern Munich main-man was on the verge of replacing Manuel Pellegrini next term and the Metro added that in case it did happen, the Spanish duo would make the move to Manchester as well.
The paper added that the pair were not really pleased in west London and would possibly consider a move away in the near future, particularly Fabregas, who was said to have played his part in the Portuguese manager’s downfall.
However, it seems that Talksport have added that City will not be the only club interested, with La Liga giants Real Madrid keen on signing him as well.
The Spanish outfit are trying their best to catch up to Barca in the league and feel that the 28-year-old Spaniard could help them do that, with a return to his homeland.
Eden Hazard could be one more man who might be offered the option of a move to the Bernabeu, though it would be really interesting to see how talks go about, with his really poor form in the current campaign.
