India skipper Virat Kohli made his presence felt in the ongoing second ODI against Australia national cricket team at Adelaide. Virat Kohli took an absolute stunner to send back Peter Siddle in the final over of Australia’s innings.
The game started on a disappointing note for Virat Kohli as he lost his second successive toss in the series. However, his disappointment soon turned into delight as the bowlers gave India a flying start in the do-or-die game. The Virat Kohli-led side got rid of Australian openers quickly to put themselves in the driver’s seat. Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave India the perfect start by castling Australia skipper Aaron Finch for 6 before Mohammed Shami dismissed Alex Carey to leave Australia reeling at 26 for 2. Usman Khawaja and Shaun Marsh, the half-centurions in the previous game, then steadied the ship.
India managed to get rid Khawaja courtesy a fine fielding effort from Ravindra Jadeja but they could not stop Marsh from scoring a brilliant ton. He scored 131 while Glenn Maxwell scored 48 as Australia scored 298 for 9 in the allotted 50 overs.

And while had very little to cheer about in the latter part of the innings when Virat Kohli took a good catch. The 30-year old was standing at sweeper cover, a position not usual for him. Siddle lofted Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s delivery towards the cover. He connected well and it looked like the ball would cross the boundary.
However, Virat Kohli charged towards his left and took a fine running catch. Here is a clip of that catch:
