The BCCI announced on Tuesday the venues for the knockout rounds of the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2015/2016 season. The quarterfinals of the tournament will be played in Vizag, Valsad, Mumbai and Bangalore.

The semi finals will be held in Cuttack and Baroda. The teams who have qualified for the knockout stages are Vidarbha, Bengal and Assam from Group A, from Group B Mumbai, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh have qualified for the quarter finals while, in Group C, Sauhastra and Jharkhand have qualified for the knockout stages. The quarter final stages will start from 3^rd February. The finals will be played in Pune from the 24^th to 28^th February. The defending champions Karnataka has been knocked out of the tournament so a new champion will be crowned this time.

The first quarter-finals will be between Vidarbha and Saurashtra at Vizag from 3^rd February, the second quarterfinals will be held between Assam and Punjab at Valsad from the same date, the third quarter-finals will be between Bengal and Madhya Pradesh at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai and the fourth quarterfinals will be held between Jharkhand and Mumbai at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. The semi-finals will be held from 13^th February to 17^th February in Cuttack and Baroda. The finals will be held in Pune.

In the league stage, Vidarbha topped Group A with four wins, two losses and two draws from eight matches and followed by Bengal and Assam with two and three wins respectively from eight matches each. In Group B, Mumbai topped the group with four wins and no losses from eight games, followed by Punjab and Madhya Pradesh next on the table with 3 wins each. In Group C Saurashtra topped the group with five wins out of eight matches followed by Jharkhand with 4 wins and 2 loses.

3^rd -7^th February 3^rd quarterfinals: Bengal and Madhya Pradesh (Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai)

24^th -28^th February – Finals: TBA vs TBA(Pune)
