The campaign against Rafa Benitez has begun. Majority of the football fans haven’t been impressed by Rafa whatsoever and think that it’s time for the Spanish club to bid adieu to Benitez. The fans are unhappy with their manager and want Real Madrid to terminate his contract. The hatred against the gaffer has been evidently seen as fans have taken over social media to express their anger. The outraged supporters have been sharing posts which indicate ‘Rafa Out’. It is now very clear that the boss does not have the support of the fans anymore as he has lost their trust.

In their game against Real Sociedad, a lot of controversy took place. Firstly, at the start of the game, Benitez was insulted. It was seen that the fans booed him as he entered the stadium. Benitez’s name was read out by the stadium announcer but was quickly met by jeers and whistles from the home crowd. In their 3-1 win, Ronaldo however missed a penalty.

And well, it was one of the worst penalty misses that have ever occurred in Ronnie’s football career. Cristiano Ronaldo missed the easy opportunity of scoring from the penalty.

The Real Madrid star blasted the penalty over the bar and failed to convert. Despite this Los Blancos went on to win the game. However the miss was seen intentional and the media claim that Ronaldo too is in the favour of getting Rafa Benitez out of the Spanish club.

It is believed that this was Ronaldo’s way of showing discontent towards the manager. It seems that Rafa will soon be sacked as the club has reportedly been linked with a return of their former manager Jose Mourinho.
