Being Jamaican cricketers, he loves partying with friends at night club and pool. He did all for fun, but some of his activities were intolerable. On the 31st night, he posted an image of partying with girls.
1) Fined for his sexist comment to Channel 10 anchor
Gayle has been fined for an inappropriate comment during a Big Bash League match between Melbourne Renegade and Hobart Hurricanes. Gayle after scoring a 15 ball 41 came to give an interview to Channel 10 female journalist Mel McLaughlin.
Gayle said to her, “I wanted to come and have an interview with you as well, that is the reason why I am here to see your eyes for the first time,” Gayle said.
Gayle further added, “hopefully we win this game and we can have a drink after, don’t blush baby.”
McLaughlin said, “ I am not blushing.”
Gayle broke into a laugh. For Gayle, it was having fun after a blitzkrieg innings but it drew flak across the world and his franchise Renegades imposed $ 10,000 fine for his sexist comment as the match was played in front young kids and female spectators, who are the main spectators of the BBL.
2)Partying with girls on the eve of 2012 Wolrd T20 final
Gayle could not resist himself from partying on the eve of 2012 World T20 final in Colombo. West Indies had emerged champions in the tournament. But, Gayle’s party in the night in his suit drew flak across the World. Gayle flopped in the match as he scored three runs from 16 balls. Marlon Samuels’ 56 balls 78 and Darren Sammy’s 15 balls 26 helped West Indies to put a competitive total on the board that proved too much for host Sri Lanka as they lost the final by 36 runs.
2)Strip club at home
“From the pool to the strip club…if u don’t have a strip club at home, U ain’t a cricket ‘Player’ .. I always make sure my guest well entertained and feel like they are at home,” Gayle posted on Instagram with an image of his home last year. The 35-year-old cricketer is known for his party-loving lifestyle and often post pictures on his Instagram page with friends at night club and pool.
This incident also drew flak as it looked weird.
