The traditional rivals India and Pakistan are about to gear up the fire on Asia Cup with the guranteed adrenaline rush and all the sparks are going to set the atmosphere on the high fever pitch. 

Asia Cup is more about India vs. Pakistan than anything else to the cricket world, and now there is another chance to behold one of the greatest cricket rivalry of the decade.

India have won the Asia Cup most times – five titles in 11 editions. But Pakistan have won the trophy only once that is in 2012.

MS Dhoni gets eliminated from the Indian team due to his side-strain injury, and Virat Kohli  is going to lead the team this year in Asia cup.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked Dinesh Karthik as Dhoni’s replacement in the Indian squad for the tournament.
Kohli has been handovered the batton of captaincy bacause of his recent consistent performences. he has marked his level higher in every overseas matches and has the aggressiveness to lead the team.

India will join arch-rivals Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and debutants Afghanistan in the tournament that will start on February 25 and run until March 8.

India will begin their campaign with a match against Sri Lanka on February 28, before the match with Pakistan on March 2.
According to Pakistan Captain Misbah-ul-Haq, although India is going to miss the experience of Dhoni but there is no point to take the World champions lightly as they remain a strong unit without their regular skipper.

Wheras team India will start their journey with the aim of holding onto the number two position in the ICC ODI team rankings at the April 1 cut-off date.

The tournament will be played at two venues in Dhaka – at Fatullah and Mirpur.

India vs. Pakistan matches had always made the cricketing atmosphere hotter and now the cricket lovers are ready to witness another drooling match between them.

The broadcasters are confident about the TRPs of Asia Cup which will go through the roof for sure.
