The calendar of top flight English football is a bit harsh as Klopp is learning in his first stint in the EPL with Liverpool.
A growing number of injuries has bought Klopp under severe pressure and the manager has revealed that need to spend in January to keep their hopes high for the season.
With Marco Grujic already snatched, Liverpool are closing in on another European superstar Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
It is reported that Liverpool are ready to break the bank and spend a record fee to land the Swiss international. German newspaper Bild reported that the Merseyside outfit are readying a bid of £37million for the services of Xhaka.
This move if done will be the costliest in the history of the club beating the 35 million paid for Andy Carrol in 2011.
Xhaka has been superb for the German side this season and has scored 3 goals in 16 appearances. He is a lively figure in the mid-field area and will surely provide the spark that is lacking at times in the Liverpool squad.
The father of the player also refused to rule out a move and said anything was possible.
Talking to media, Ragip Xhaka said At the moment I prefer not to say too much,” Ragip Xhaka said.
“We’ll see what happens. I can say that several big clubs are interested. Everything is possible, we’re not ruling anything out.”
A host of top European clubs such as Arsenal, Bayern, Napoli and Tottenham are also interested in signing the 23-year old.
