The gunners have been dealt a big blow at the hands of a certain Aubameyang who has snubbed all speculations connecting him to the North London club saying that he plans to stay at Dortmund.

On Thursday, Arsenal created huge ripples in the transfer arena by proposing a humongous 44.6 million pounds bid for the Gabon international. But the 26 year old has played down all rumours and hopes by saying that “I don’t want to go to Arsenal. I won’t leave Dortmund soon.” The Gabon international has been in scintillating for the Bavarians scoring a brilliant 24 goals in 23 appearances, thus undoubtedly grabbed the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the world.

An all out action by Arsene Wenger who has been an admirer of the forward, was prompted by Dortmund chief executive’s comments who said that the club isn’t only dependent of Aubameynag to get results.

Hans-Joachim Watzke said that “One must never make the mistake to believe that a club like BVB is dependent on a player. We are not dependent on anyoneWhen Robert Lewandowski left, we found [a solution] and he even has three more goals than Lewa. We are now so well positioned that we can offer alternative solutions again and again.”

Further adding fuel to the fire was Aubameyang’s absence from the Dortmund training. But it was later cleared that the forward had flown to Abuju in Nigeria to attend the African CAF awards where he picked up the best player award beating four time winner Yaya Toure. What might be bad news for the Guners turns out to be a boon for those big Spanish clubs as Aubameyang aims to move to Spain in the future as his other hails from there.
