Sunrisers Hyderabad did not release Warner even after he was banned and retained him prior to the upcoming season.
Warner will himself have everything to play for in the tournament as he isn’t a part Australian team for last two ODIs against Pakistan and we will have to perform well in IPL in order to get a place in the national squad for World Cup 2019.
He recently made his comeback from elbow issue and looked in form as he scored a century. Prior to PL 2018, Warner, along with Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft, was banned by CA.

Warner and Smith were banned for a period of one year each while Bancroft was banned for nine months. He (Bancroft) has served his ban period and made his comeback to domestic cricket.
The bans of Warner and Smith will end on March 28 and they are likely to play in IPL after March 28 only. Although they will not be leading their respective teams in IPL.
Cricket Australia had banned Smith from captaincy duties for 24 months while Warner will never be considered for captaincy post.
Still, they both led different teams while playing T20 leagues around the world during the time when they were banned.
IPL 2019 kicks of on March 23. Sunrisers Hyderabad play Kolkata Knight Riders in their first game on the March 24. Warner is unlikely to be part playing XI in that match.
