West Indies batsman Andre Russell has been got out in bizarre style in Big Bash League T20 in Australia. Russell has been playing for Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash. He has been one of the fascinating T20 players in the world.
But, today he has to face a bizarre situation at Spotless Stadium in Sydney during a match against Sydney Thunder.
Renegades winning the toss chose to bat first. Usman Khawaja and Shane Watson scored 62 each.
A late surge is waiting from Andre Russell, but a bizarre and painful incident as in the 17th over Russell faced an unexpected bouncer from Nathan Rimmington. Russell initially went for a big shot, but as the ball came towards his neck he was completely bemused as he failed to duck the ball, as a result, got hit on the neck and hit wicket himself. This incident resembles Pakistani batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq’ hit wicket out against England.
