Former Indian National Cricket team player Gautam Gambhir has urged each and every country to stop aid to Pakistan in the wake of the recent Pulwama attack. Meanwhile, the attack took place on February 14 and Gambhir feels stopping aid to the neighbouring country will help them stop terror.
Pulwama attack cost 40 lives
The Pulwama attack took away the lives of more than 40 Indian jawans. Pakistan based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility of the attack. Since then, there has been a call for boycotting Pakistan in the ICC World Cup in June. However, ICC has cleared their stance that they will go on with the game which has garnered massive support from the fans. The applications for the ticket sale is significantly more than the other games including the finale.

Gautam Gambhir, who is likely to contest the upcoming elections from BJP’s ticket once again urged others to stop aid to Pakistan. Gambhir, meanwhile, made a special request to Australia to stop supporting because he feels the dollars are not going in the right cause.
“I’d urge each and every country to stop aids to Pakistan and most of all my second most favoured cricketing nation, Australia. India fears that your dollars are not being used for right causes
#StopAidToPak,” Gautam Gambhir tweeted.
