Australian exciting batsman Cameron Bancroft has found himself in the hot waters yet again while being charged by Cricket Australia (CA) for breaching Code of Conduct during the ongoing domestic JLT Sheffield Shield 2018-19 competition.
The Aussies board revealed Western Warriors batsman, Bancroft has been charged with Level 1 violation of the Board’s constitution.
The incident happened during the recently-held game between Western Australia and Tasmanian Tigers on March 14.

In the JLT Sheffield Shield 2018-19 competition Bancroft is reported for breaching Article 2.1.2 which holds the right to punish players for the abuse of cricketing equipment apart from the ground paraphernalia.
Also, the Article is related to the fixtures of the aforementioned competition. During his recent first-class fixtures against Tasmania, Bancroft has scored 49 runs across two innings for West Australia at Hobart.
Talking about the 27th match of the Sheffield Shield tourney, Western Australia won the game convincingly by 51 runs after posting 367 runs in the first innings before declaring their innings on 283 for eight in the second essay.
For Tasmania, the highlight of their innings was skipper Matthew Wade’s ton in the second innings after a five-wicket haul from Jackson Bird.
Western Australian middle-order batsmen have shone some promise to put their team in a strong position.
However, the 26-year-old top-order batsman has admitted to his folly. He also accepted a fine of 50 per cent of his match fee. Pertinently, Match Referee Steve Bernard has proposed the penalty while considering the detail report of on-field umpires and third umpire respectively.

In March 2018, besieged ball-tamperer Bancroft has faced nine-month sanction from CA. He recently returned to the Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Perth Scorchers. In the eighth edition of the BBL, Bancroft has amassed 298 runs in 11 matches. He has two fifties to his name while scoring at the strike-rate of 124.69.
The wicketkeeper-batsman Bancroft has represented Australia in eight Tests to accumulate 402 runs at an average of 30.92. He has smashed three half-centuries under his belt in 14 innings.
Besides, he has also played a solitary T20I against India at Sydney on January 31, 2016.
Concurrently, among six teams, Victoria tops the chart with five wins in nine matches. Western Australia has maintained the third spot with Tasmania on the fifth position with three victories.
