Sunrisers Hyderabad had always entered the tournament as underdogs but often found a new way to get success. Though they haven’t got any star-studded lineup, they made things fall in place during the course of the tournament. Meanwhile, the head coach Tom Moody lauds Kane Williamson.
Sunrisers lost their opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan, who has been traded to Delhi Capitals. However, the return of David Warner will be a good boost for the team, who would replace Dhawan at the top-order.
Kane Williamson is a highly respected cricketer – Tom Moody
Last year, in the absence of David Warner, Kane Williamson stood tall for the team. He led the team from the front with an impeccable display of batting skills at the top. Meanwhile, the return of Warner created problems for the selection panel to pick their captain.

However, they chose Kane Williamson to lead the side, who did fantabulously well in the previous season. Further, Tom Moody believes that Kane brings the required calmness to the current setup.
“Kane is an outstanding batsman and also a highly respected international player. He has stepped in for us last year and has shown good leadership qualities,” Tom Moody said in the press conference.
And also, Tom Moody quoted that SRH has got quite a few options for the captaincy. Kane Williamson can lead the side while David Warner also got the skills. Meanwhile, Shakib of Bangladesh and Manish Pandey can also lead the team.

”SRH have several players with leadership ability like Australian David Warner, Shakib al Hasan of Bangladesh and Manish Pandey, who led Karnataka to victory in the recent Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament,” he added.
All in all, Sunrisers Hyderabad has once again come up with a brilliant squad in their kitty. They have quite a few match-winners in the team, who can rip the opposition apart on their day.
They will start their campaign by locking horns with Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Hyderabad finished at second place in the previous edition of Indian Premier League.
