Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had a poor start in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). They were all out for seventy runs and suffered a humiliating loss. However, the Challengers will be desperate to come back in the tournament when they face Mumbai Indians (MI) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on March 28 (Thursday).
Virat Kohli & Co need to ponder over their playing XI and chalk out a strategy as they gear up for the second game. The team have always had good players who can win matches single-handedly but has struggled to strike the right combinations. Virat Kohli & Co need to come out all guns blazing if they want to keep their chances going for their maiden IPL Trophy.
In a bid to do that, they will look to make a few changes in their squad going into the second game of the season.
Here is the predicted XI of Royal Challengers Bangalore from match 7 of IPL 2019 against Mumbai Indians at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium:
PARTHIV PATEL
Parthiv Patel was the only batsman to cross the single-digit mark in the first game. The experienced wicket-keeper batsman needs to continue scoring runs for his side and provide good opening stands alongside Virat Kohli.
VIRAT KOHLI
Virat Kohli has won everything possible on a cricket field; however, is yet to lift the IPL trophy. The talismanic run-scorer will be desperate to achieve that feat this time around. For that, Kohli will have to score tons of runs and lead his side from the front.
MOEEN ALI

The English all-rounder is the key figure in this line-up. Batting at one drop, Moeen Ali will have to provide stability in the batting order. He is also more than handy just a per-time off-spinner. He can provide breakthrough and change the momentum of the game.
AB DE VILLIERS
AB de Villiers has been one of the pillars for the Royal Challengers Bangalore alongside Kohli. The franchise will depend on him heavily to score runs for them. Besides, he is an outstanding fielder and can certainly save a few runs in the outfield.
GURKEERAT SINGH MANN

The cricketer from Punjab is a stylish looking batsman and has all the shots in his books. Playing his first game of the season, Gurkeerat will have score runs quickly to cement his berth in the playing XI.
SHIVAM DUBE

Shivam Dube had a poor debut in the Indian Premier League. But the young cricketer from Mumbai possesses a lot of talent and can be a match-winner for the Royal Challengers. Meanwhile, the management needs to back Shivam and give him some time to settle down at this stage.
COLIN DE GRANDHOMME

Colin de Grandhomme is a handy all-rounder with abilities to contribute in all the department. However, the veteran cricketer needs to perform to the best of his abilities and return the trust shown by the franchise.
TIM SOUTHEE
Tim Southee has tons of experience behind his back. The New Zealand seamer will have to lead the pace attack and solve Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowling woes.
UMESH YADAV

Umesh Yadav has been in fine form with the ball. The India pacer will have to step up and pick wickets with the new ball to bring his side to the winning ways. He can bowl quickly and has a good away swinger which will come in handy for Umesh.
YUZVENDRA CHAHAL
Yuzvendra Chahal has been the driving force for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the bowling department. The leg-spinner needs to carry on his business and bring his side to winning ways.
MOHAMMAD SIRAJ
Mohammad Siraj made an excellent start to IPL 2019 against Chennai Super Kings. He bowled two overs giving away five runs including one maiden and one wicket. The tall and lanky pacer will look to keep up the good work against the Mumbai Indians.
