Those kinds of things are not good for the game of cricket – Rohit Sharma on No-ball
Speaking of the no-ball, Rohit Sharma quoted that things like those aren’t great for the game of cricket. Rohit Sharma added that he came to knew that it was a no-ball when he completed his celebrations.

”I just got to know when we crossed the rope. These kind of things are not good for cricket, one of the Bumrah’s deliveries wasn’t a wide. Players can’t do much. Very disappointed to see that,” Rohit Sharma said.
We stuck to our plans –
Further, he went on to add saying that they are aware of the conditions and wants to stick to their plans till the end. He believes that scoring 180 is always a good score in T20 games irrespective of how the track plays on a given day.

”Anything over 180 is a good score. We know the condiions here and we got the bowlers to get the job done. We didn’t panic, we kept sticking to our strengths. Middle overs are very crucial. We stuck to our plans and I think it was a great effort from the bowlers,” he added.
On Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah:
He concluded it by lauding Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga, who has been the best in the business. Rohit Sharma quoted that Malinga has been the great servant of Mumbai Indians’ franchise.

”Malinga has been the part of MI for a long time, you can always trust those guys in the back end. They bought experience into play. We were quite brave to bowl the deliveries we bowled. Bumrah executed well and we just missed a trick in the middle with the bat. Those are the kind of things we need to remember when playing big games,” he added.
On Hardik Pandya:
And, finally, he showered words of praise on Hardik Pandya for his stunning display of batting in the final overs of the innings. He believes that IPL will do a great help in boosting his confidence.

”We were upto the mark today. We all understand Hardik’s importance in the side. Whatever happened with him, he needed that confidence. Batted well and got us those crucial runs in the end,” he inferred.
All in all, it has been a great day at the office for Rohit Sharma-led side. Now, they will tour to Mohali to take on Kings XI Punjab.
