What an innings it was for Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium facing Royal Challengers Bangalore. The flamboyant Jonny Bairstow and the stylish southpaw David Warner smashed it beautifully to put a massive tally on the board.
Initially, it was Virat Kohli, who won the toss and elected to bowl first. Despite losing the toss, SRH batsmen never depressed the team, as both the openers went berserk in the middle. They both went after RCB bowlers to get good runs on the board in powerplay overs.

Jonny Bairstow scored 114:
Despite the completion of the power play, Jonny Bairstow never looked calm in his crease. He went after RCB bowlers to bring his first century in the Indian Premier League. David Warner also showed his class by knocking it beautifully at the crease.
After knocking114 runs off the 56 deliveries, Bairstow dismissed to Yuzvendra Chahal. He numbered 7 sixes and 12 boundaries in his scintillating knock. The duo added 185 runs for the first wicket before Bairstow walking back.

Despite the wicket, David Warner continued his blitz for the team to ensure a massive tally on the board. Vijay Shankar tried to show his hitting skills but unfortunately dismissed run out while trying to steal an extra run.
All in all, it was a stunning first inning for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The century knock from Jonny Bairstow and the brilliant hand from David Warner, in the end, helped Sunrisers Hyderabad to put a massive tally on the board. David Warner’s century helped SRH to score 231 on the board.

This #IPL #SRH is the only team that hasn’t lost a wicket in the power-play overs. And they have done it with the highest run-rate. #SRHvRCB ??

This is what the IPL does! A highly strung aggressive Aussie runs down the wicket to hug a pretty expressive Englishman in an Ashes year!! @SunRisers
