It was a sensational knock from the blade of Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni which propelled CSK to a competitive score of 175 in their allotted 20 overs in the 12th match of Vivo IPL 12 between Chennai SSuper Kings and the Rajasthan Royals. MS Dhoni rolled back the years and remained unbeaten on 75 of 46 deliveries which included 4 fours and 4 sixes.
It was carnage on display from the former Indian skipper. He paced his innings to perfection and targeted the exact bowlers which he had in mind. He smashed Jaydev Unadkat for 3 sixes in the last 3 legitimate deliveries bowled in the over. His knock eventually proved to be the difference as Chennai posted a challenging total on the board.

Former Team India opener and once a teammate of MS Dhoni, Virender Sehwag was delighted with his knock and congratulated Dhoni in his own unique style. “Not Whistle Podu, but that was Whistle Todu and Whistle Fodu from Dhoni. Very very good to see,” Sehwag wrote on his Twitter handle.
