Kings XI Punjab snatched victory from the jaws of defeat against the Delhi Capitals after a sensational last couple of overs from Mohammed Shami and Sam Curran. Both bowlers were terrific in their last two overs as Delhi Capitals lost 7 wickets for just 8 runs in 17 deliveries. It was one of the horrendous collapses ever in the history of IPL.
Ravichandran Ashwin will be a happy man after coming out of jail in the match against DC. As they set to play their 4th match of the tournament against the mighty Chennai Super Kings, let us have a look at the Predicted Playing XI for Kings XI Punjab
Lokesh Rahul

The stylish right-handed batsman hasn’t got going in the tournament so far and has given away his wickets pretty cheaply. Despite his failures, he will continue to open the innings. After three poor outings, Rahul will definitely look to get back on track in the big match against Chennai Super Kings,
Sam Curran

It was a dream match for Curran in the previous game. Filling the big shoes of Chris Gayle, Sam Curran performed admirably and scored a quickfire 20 after ope ning the innings. With the ball in hand, he bagged 4 crucial wickets which included a hat-trick in the final over of the match which handed Punjab a famous victory.
Mayank Agarwal

His confidence has reached a different level after he made his Test debut for India not long ago. Mayank Agarwal has looked in good touch in the tournament so far and will look to continue his good run. He was unfortunately run out in the last game courtesy some brilliance in the field by Shikhar Dhawan.
Sarfaraz Khan

The youngster has looked in great touch in the tournament so far and has executed some extraordinary shots. His famous scoop over the keeper’s head is simply of another level. However, he needs to be more consistent as he might be batting at No 4.
David Miller

The big man from South Africa came back to form with a good 43 of 30 deliveries. The southpaw struck 4 fours and a couple of sixes during his knock. However, he struggled at times to hit the big shots which might be a worry for Punjab. The big hitter will continue to remain one of the integral part of the Kings XI Punjab franchise.
Mandeep Singh

He provided the much needed late impetus which propelled Punjab to a score of 166 against the Delhi Capitals. Due to his inconsistency, Mandeep Singh has never found a permanent spot in any franchise has played for. He will like to believe that there might be a change this year.
Hardus Viljoen

The fast bowling all-rounder has been impressive in the few opportunities he has got in the tournament so far. He bowled well against Delhi Capitals conceding 22 runs from 3 overs and chipping with a wicket. Viljoen is expected to be part of tomorrow’s Playing XI.
Ravichandran Ashwin

The skipper has been exceptional in his moves and has been a livewire in the field as well. Ravi Ashwin bowled quite brilliantly against Delhi Capitals and bagged two important wickets of Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan. He has led his troops well and look to take his team to their 3rd win of the tournament.
Murugan Ashwin

The leggie has been a good addition to the squad. He has bowled pretty well and has been consistent in the areas he has pitched the ball. He conceded 19 runs in a couple of fours against Delhi Capitals but will look to make an impact against CSK if given the opportunity.
Mohammed Shami

The Indian speedster made a terrific comeback in the final few overs against the Delhi Capitals which helped them claw their way back into the match. Shami has improved by leaps and bounds in the last few months and is an integral part of the Punjab side. He finished with impressive figures of 2/27 in his allotted 4 overs.
Mujeeb-ur-Rahman

The Afghan spinner has been a mystery ever since he came into the circuit. Though his mystery has been understood quite a bit by the opposition batters but he continues to possess a threat with his nagging line and length. He is expected to be part of the match against Chennai Super Kings
