In the last 4 years, the evolution of Rashid Khan from a teenage sensation to becoming the No 1 T20I bowler is some success story. Belonging from a country which was known for all the wrong reasons, Rashid Khan has brought Afghanistan in the global circuit and continues to be one of the finest servants of the game from his country.
It was courtesy of some good bowling performance by Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi that SRH managed to restrict Delhi Capitals to a score of 129 runs in their allotted 20 overs. They conceded 39 runs between them bagging 3 wickets in the process. In the run chase, it was a breezy half-century from Jonny Bairstow which helped them reach the target with utmost comfort in the end.
Meanwhile, the wickets taken by Nabi and Rashid included those of Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant, two of the most important batsmen in the Delhi Capitals franchise. It was their bowling which helped SRH put a brake on Delhi Capitals as they never manage to press on the accelerator.

Rashid Khan reveals he loves playing the helicopter shot
In a video posted by the IPL website, Mohammad Nabi is seen interviewing Rashid Khan where Nabi asks Rashid what he prefers more batting or bowling. In response, Rashid stated that he does love his bowling but he also loves playing the helicopter shot.
“I love my bowling, but I like to play the helicopter shot a lot,” responded Rashid. “The fans, they like it a lot too and want to see it in every game. I’ve been working hard on that and so far it has worked out well and I will try to play the shot whenever I can,” Rashid Khan said.

The leg-spinner further stated that he would like to give his best to contribute to the team’s cause as per the situation of the match and what the team demands from him whether it will be with the bat, ball or in the field. In the current edition of the IPL, Rashid Khan is yet to make a mark with the bat but has taken 3 wickets in 4 games so far. However, much more is expected from a player of Rashid’s calibre as he is undoubtedly one of the vital players in the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad.
The leggie further added that staying fit was one of the main reasons why he enjoys his game the most.
“The reason I am so energetic is my fitness and it helps enjoy the game game – batting, bowling or fielding,” he said.“You have to play consecutive games very quickly and you are travelling regularly also. So by staying fit, it helps to perform better during the games.”

The next assignment for the Sunrisers Hyderabad will be against the Mumbai Indians in Hyderabad on Saturday. The three-time champions made a great comeback against Chennai Super Kings and will look to win their 3rd match of the tournament.
