It was another defeat for the Royal Challengers Bangalore as they lost their 5th match on a trot in Vivo IPL 12 after going down against Kolkata Knight Riders courtesy a special knock from the blade of Andre Russell. For the major part of the match, RCB looked the more likely team to win the match as they dominated the major part of the match. However, in the last 4 overs, Andre Russell totally changed the complexion of the game and helped KKR coast to the victory target with 5 balls left.
Despite their poor performances over the last 3 years, the Royal Challengers Bangalore fans have always been with the franchise and supported them through thick and thin. Even yesterday, the crowd was right behind RCB when Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were going great guns. They were delighted after KKR needed more than 60 runs to win in the last 4 overs.
However, the complexion in the stadium changed as Andre Russell went hammers and tongs and snatched victories from the jaws of defeat. He smashed 7 sixes during his unbeaten knock of 48 of just 13 deliveries. Following yet another defeat, the RCB fans were demoralized and expressed their emotions by throwing the flags of RCB after the defeat.
You will always expect support for the local franchise but RCB’s poor performances in the last few years have only added to the miseries of the RCB fans. There are several loyal RCB fans who have been trolled for supporting RCB and that should be one of the reasons why the RCB fans threw the flags after the morale-shattering defeat.

Earlier in the day, the RCB fans had something to cheer for when RCB went onto post a more than competitive score of 205 on the board in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers shared a brilliant partnership which eventually propelled Bangalore to a relatively big total.
