Chelsea to send Atsu away on loan
Chelsea are planning to send Christian Atsu on loan, preferably to a Premier League club in search of first-team experience. The winger joined Chelsea from FC Porto in 2013, at the young age of 22, but has made no appearance for the West London outfit.
Guus Hiddink believes the Ghanaian needs more first team football to develop himself into a great player and are ready to loan him out. He has been the subject of interest from a bunch of European clubs, with Sevilla, Espanyol, Mainz FC being the front-runners.
Chelsea all set to sign Alexandro Pato
Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has given the green light to sign Corinthians forward Alexandro Pato. There has been immense speculation about Hiddink’s disinclination in signing the 26-year-old Brazilian but has now agreed to land the ex-AC Milan player.
Daily Mail reveals that Corinthians will loan him to Chelsea until May, with an option to sign him on a permanent basis if he fulfils the firepower in front of goal.
Pato has earlier voiced his desire to play in England and said that Premier League is the best in the world.
Hiddink does not want the legend back
Hiddink, after the win against arch-rivals Arsenal, ended all rumours regarding the return of Chelsea legend Didier Drogba, back to Stamford Bridge. It was reported earlier that Drogba may come back to England, and the prospect of gossip attained the extremity when Drogba was spotted along with Guus Hiddink
But the Chelsea boss spoke that such a deal is not going to happen. But he then added that the Ivorian may return to West London in coaching outfit, in some near future.
“On short-term, no. Nothing is happening. But in the longer term, considering the impact big players make, he is welcome”.
Drogba is currently featuring for Montreal Impacts in MLS.
