It has been a brilliant day for Rajasthan Royals so far in the tournament. They have bee brilliant with the ball in the middle to restrict Mumbai Indians to 161. Shreyas Gopal has been the star with the ball while the fast bowlers gave a brilliant backup to make things fall in place.
Initially, it was Steven Smith, who replaced Ajinkya Rahane, won the toss and elected to field first. They started with Stuart Binny, who bowled a brilliant 3-run over and then Dhawal followed it up with another 3-run over. Certainly, it kept the pressure on Rohit Sharma, who was dismissed by Shreyas Gopal.
However, it was Quinton de Kock, who had a stellar ride in the middle., He whacked those balls out of the park with ease to make things fall in place. In between, Surya Kumar Yadav also played a run-a-ball knock to give a maximum strike to Quinton de Kock.

Then came the brilliant couple of overs from Stuart Binny and Shreyas Gopal, who bagged the wickets of Surya Kumar Yadav and Quinton de Kock respectively to pull things back in control for Rajasthan Royals. This made Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya head to the middle with 5 overs left in the bank.
Meanwhile, Steve Smith is smart enough in having Jofra Archer back end and relied his trust on Jaydev Unadkat.

The left-handed fast bowler almost did the trick for Rajasthan, as he made Hardik miscued a shot to Arche. But, Jofra has got the butterfingers, which gave life to the all-rounder.
Despite that Unadkat knocked the stumps of Kieron Pollard to give a sigh of relief for Rajasthan Royals. In the end, it was Hardik Pandya’s blitz which helped Mumbai to post a good tally on the board.

#RajasthanRoyals have appointed an interim captain, by the looks of it. Steven Smith leaves in a few days too. Unless this is an announcement of next year's captain.

Jofra Archer has bowled 15 yorkers this season – that is the fourth most of any bowler behind Chris Morris (22), Mohammad Shami (21) and Sam Curran (18). #IPL #RRvMI @rajasthanroyals @mipaltan

#RRvMI I wish #hardik had #krunal ‘s attitdue.
Something about #hardik ‘s attitude that is very annoying.
He’s a talented player, no doubt. Wish he’d just lose the attitude.— kunal kohli (@kunalkohli) April 20, 2019

So on a very slow surface #MI have scored 161-5 thanks to a 50 from De Kock and contributions from the middle order as well! A par score on this big ground so here’s hoping we bowl well to defend this! #VIVOIPL #RRvMI #ComeOnMI

Didn't get the finish but it seems apparent that run-getting becomes difficult as the ball gets older. This might be enough for #MI
