WE all know in which year Money in the Bank was invented, it was year 2005, when Edge, Kane, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Christianand Shelton Benjamin fought in the first ever Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 21. The Rated R superstar Edge came out with the victory in that match.

Next year, six more superstars fought for the opportunity to win Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 22, the superstars were Ric Flair, Rob Van Dam, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Finlay and Bobby Lashley. The match was won by Mr. Monday Night Rob Van Dam.

At WrestleMania 23, the number of Money in the Bank competitor was increased to eight as superstars like CM Punk, Randy Orton, Edge, King Booker (Booker T), Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Mr. Kennedy and Finlay fought and Mr. Kennedy came out victorious.

Next year at WrestleMania 24, CM Punk, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Jericho, Carlito, Montel Vontavious Porter, Mr. Kennedy, and John Morrison fought and CM Punk came out victorious.

At WrestleMania 25, CM Punk came out victorious again as fought against six more superstars who were Kane, Mark Henry, Montel Vontavious Porter, Shelton Benjamin, Kofi Kingston, Christian and Finlay.

At WrestleMania 26, Jack Swagger won the Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating Christian, Matt Hardy, Kane, Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Montel Vontavious Porter, and Evan Bourne. It was the first Money in the Bank to feature ten superstars.

WrestleMania 26 was the last WrestleMania to feature Money in the Bank ladder match because from the same year, a pay per view named Money in the Bank was introduced where two ladder matches are performed, one for the WWE championship, and the other one was for the World Heavyweight championship.

We believe Money in the Bank pay per view event should be closed and the match should be restored to WrestleMania. The reason is pretty obvious, the WWE championship and the World Heavyweight championship is now unified into the WWE World Heavyweight championship. We do not think it would be a very wise move to arrange the Money in the Bank pay per view event for only one championship.

Besides, arranging Money in the Bank ladder at WrestleMania would be a matter of interest too. And it was heard earlier that WWE would bring WCW’s famous War Games back. They should replace War Games with Money in the Bank pay per view event. I am pretty much sure that War games would be a much more interesting pay per view event than Money in the Bank.
