A cricketer has been jailed for five years for raping a sleeping victim in teammate’s bed. In fact, the cricketer raped the woman as part of foul sexual conquest competition with his teammate. Former Worcestershire player Alex Hepburn, who is 23 years of age raped a woman in his flat in Worcester on 1 April 2017.
The victim had sex with Hepburn’s teammate Joe Clarke. The victim has decided to remain anonymous for legal reasons. The woman was left shocked when she found herself to be in bed with Alex Hepburn instead of Joe Clarke.

Hepburn wrote in one message as quoted by Dailymail, ‘Got to understand that Hepperdawg is a horny c*** and without you keeping my head straight just goes and does rogue things.’
The all-rounder’s trial at Hereford Crown Court heard how he and Clarke had exchanged vile messages on the phone. Consequently, the judge Jim Tindal lashed at the cricketer for looking at the victim like a piece of meat.
Blasting him, judge Jim Tindal said: ‘I sentence you on the basis the jury were sure the victim was woken by you but was still barely awake and in the dark thought you were Joe Clarke.
‘You thought you were god’s gift to women. You saw the victim as a piece of meat, not another human entitled to respect.’
On the other hand, the victim shared her surprise when she realised that it was Alex Hepburn instead of Joe Clarke. The woman was still in a daze, however, she recognised that she was not with Clarke when she touched Alex’s hair and heard his voice in the morning.
She told police: ‘It wasn’t until I heard his voice and touched his hair I realised it wasn’t Joe.’
Giving evidence, the victim sobbed: ‘When I realised it was him, I was confused.
‘I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t the person who I fell asleep next to. When I pushed him he was kind of pawing at my legs and encouraging me telling I’m beautiful.’
In fact, the rape was done after a few days when Alex Hepburn set the rules of a new contest in which the participants were asked to have sex with as many new people as possible.
